Highly anticipated by all of the avid readers in the
four-corners area of Clermont, Florida, is the new 2-Story,
30,000 square foot Cagan Crossings Community Library. The
creative layout of this $7 million facility generates an
effective educational space for the developing minds of the four
counties it serves.
Upon entrance into this eye-catching facility is an intricate
atrium leading into the first floor space which includes
multiple lounging areas, meeting rooms, computer education room,
children’s story-hour room, two study rooms, offices, and
adult/children stack areas with multiple computer stations. The
second floor has been left as shell space for future expansion.
The interior finishes feature nicely hand crafted built-in
cabinetry and trim work throughout with extensive vaulted
ceilings, exposed structural beams and an architectural deck in
the towers. The building is load bearing masonry with a
structural steel frame. The exterior finishes are a mixture of
stucco and a curtain wall window system.
